Spring 2025 Eastern Europe Tour Fair
FM UK Delegation at the Spring 2025 Eastern Europe Tour Fair
A delegation from the Faculty of Management of Comenius University (FM UK), consisting of Dr. Vilčeková, Kočišová, and Gažová, along with colleagues from the Rector’s Office of the university, participated in the Spring 2025 Eastern Europe Tour fair, starting with a series of events in Sofia, Bulgaria. The aim of participation was to present the Faculty's study programs, research activities, and academic opportunities to international students from Anglo-American high schools. These student fairs, organized as part of the College Fair at the Anglo-American School of Sofia, provided an opportunity for young people from Central and Eastern Europe to learn more about study opportunities at FM UK.
After a successful event in Sofia, the fair continued in Bucharest, held at two high schools offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. At this event, we once again presented our study programs and study opportunities, with a focus on fostering international cooperation and attracting talented students from Romania. The fairs offered a chance for personal meetings with prospective students, many of whom showed significant interest in our faculty.
The series of fairs concluded with the participation of the Faculty of Management at the College Fair at St. Catherine's British School in Athens, Greece. This event attracted not only students from St. Catherine’s but also students from other high schools, who were keen to learn about our study programs and the practical applications of these programs after graduation. There was considerable interest in studying at our faculty, particularly regarding the courses offered within individual programs.
Participation in these fairs provided the faculty with valuable feedback, helping us better understand the needs and expectations of international students. The dissemination of information about study opportunities in English, admission requirements, and other relevant information for foreign students contributed to increased interest in our programs and enhanced awareness of the Faculty of Management among international students.
This successful trip underscored the importance of the Faculty’s international activities, which focus on attracting high-quality students and supporting international collaboration.
