The Conference 2020 - ATTENTION, IMPORTANT CHANGE

Virtual Conference of students, doctoral students – PhD. students and young scientists in the field of Management and Economics research organized by the Faculty of Management of Comenius University in Bratislava in cooperation with the Slovak Doctoral Candidates Association.

The conference is organized under the auspices of the Dean of the Faculty of Management, Comenius University in Bratislava, prof. RNDr. Michal Greguš, PhD.

Location: Faculty of Management, Comenius University in Bratislava

The conference “Days of Management and Economics Students 2020” is an international student conference that includes Student Scientific and Professional Activities and the Conference of PhD. students – doctoral students and young scientists.

The main aim of the conference is to involve talented students and young scientists of the Faculty of Management of Comenius University, but also of other universities and high schools into current issues of Economics and Management in the field of theory and practice.

The conference also aims to:

1. To encourage students to conduct research activities at the Faculty of Management of Comenius University.
2. To create a space for interdisciplinary cooperation in solving scientific problems.

In line with the intention of the conference, parallel discussions will be set up in the thematically oriented sections, focusing on actual issues and problems within the area of Management and Economics.

The results of independent as well as collective scientific work focused on Economic Sciences and Management in the following thematic areas can be presented at the Conference:

COURSE AND ORGANIZATION

• ATTENTION, IMPORTANT CHANGE - virtual participation and presentation of the submitted paper.
• Language of the conference: Slovak, English
• Participation within SSPA is free of charge.
• Participation in the evening banquet is optional - the fee for the evening banquet for all conference participants, both active and passive, is 20 Euros / person.
  o  The fee must be paid exclusively by bank transfer: SK66 8180 0000 0070 0008 3821
  o   Variable symbol: 999
• The evening banquet is canceled in accordance with the current measures against the spread of coronavirus.

• SSPA is attended by students of bachelor's, master's and high school students in the form of virtual presentation and defense of submitted works.
• Participants will be issued a certificate of participation, if requested.
• Extended deadline! Deadline for submission of applications: till 10. 3. 2020 till 24. 03. 2020 (inclusive), including the title and abstract of the paper. The authors, the title of the paper and the abstract will be presented on the website of the Faculty of Management, in the conference section.
• Deadline for submitting the accepted paper by mail: till 31. 3. 2020 (inclusive) including a Power Point presentation.
• Participants, in addition to valuable experience, have the opportunity to receive a financial reward which will be awarded to the best works within SSPA based on the evaluation of the Scientific Committee of the Conference.

• The reviewed papers from the conference will also be published in a peer-reviewed scientific proceedings, which will be published in cooperation with the Comenius  University Publishing House in an electronic form and will be available on the website of the Faculty of Management of Comenius University.
• Deadline for sending the final version of the paper after incorporating the conference comments: till 31. 5. 2020 (inclusive)
• The way of the virtual SSPA will be communicated to the registered participant via e-mail.

2.     The PhD and Young Researchers Conference is open to PhD students in both full-time and part-time form, but also to young researchers.

• ATTENTION, IMPORTANT CHANGE - virtual participation and presentation of the submitted paper.
• Language of the conference: Slovak, English
• Selected papers from the conference will be published both in SPRINGER and in scientific peer-reviewed proceedings, which will be published in cooperation with Comenius University Publishing House in an electronic form and will be available on the FMCU website.
• Only papers from participants who will be attending virtual presentation will be published.
• Participants will be issued a certificate of participation, if requested.
• Deadline for submission of applications: till 24. 3. 2020 (inclusive), including the title and abstract of the paper. The authors, the title of the paper and the abstract will be presented on the website of the Faculty of Management, in the conference section.
• Deadline for submitting the accepted paper: till 31. 3. 2020 (inclusive) including a Power Point presentation.
• Deadline for sending the final version of the paper after incorporating the conference comments: till 31. 5. 2020 (inclusive)

• Conference fee:
  o    payment until 31. 3. 2020 - 25 Eur
  o    to be paid exclusively by bank transfer: SK66 8180 0000 0070 0008 3821
  o    variable symbol: 999
  o    the conference fee includes the costs of organizing the virtual conference and processing the conference proceedings.
  o    failure to attend a virtual conference or failure to submit a paper does not constitute a right to a refund of the conference fee.
